Just ask Precious, who survived the floodwaters and chaos of Katrina to find a new life, a new career, and new hope. Or ask Rebecca, the first in her family to graduate from college...and Cum Laude, no less!
The mission of Project Hope is two-fold:
First, to eliminate hopelessness in the North Texas Area by providing a program of coaching, training, education, opportunity and hope to all people who want to move from an impoverished lifestyle to a sustainable, quality lifestyle. The program focuses on seven areas: Family, Faith, Education, Career, Budget, Health, and Personal Issues.
Second, to provide a program that gives volunteers an opportunity to share their gifts and talents with those in need.
In both instances, the program is transformational.
The foundation of the program is the Project Hope Scholarship. But, rather than just provide scholarship funds, Project Hope also provides personal coaching and life skills training to ensure success.
